My name is Sultan Karmanov. I was born in the Shymkent city, Kazakhstan. Since childhood, I have liked visual creativity. I've always loved to paint and grew up interested in photography. In university, i studied for an architect. I had worked as an architect for 10 years, and then I started to work as a photographer and video -maker. Favorite genre - reportage, documentary.  Skills in architecture help me to catch a good angle of different structures, to see the right perspective. I like to catch random moments. There is a magic in photo, when the moment is real, not staged.

I love nature; beautiful, wild places where people rarely go. I'm fond of telling stories about the people of different professions. Every person who has found a favorite profession becomes part of it. Each person is a whole different world. I'd love to show it genuinely both through photos and videos.
